Your local ABC Supply branch will soon have a new look and a host of new features designed to make it an even more powerful tool for contractors and their clients.
In a process that began last fall and will continue throughout 2008, we’re redesigning all of our showrooms into Solution Centers, turning them into premier destinations for product information and selection. Over 150 Solution Centers have already been reset and another 70 are slated to be complete by the end of July.
The redesign is part of our ongoing commitment to providing world-class service to professional contractors. “Many of the features of the redesigned Solution Centers are the result of feedback we received from contractors who were looking for better ways to educate themselves, their employees and their customers about the options available to them,” said Kevin Hendricks, vice president of branch operations.
Among the most noticeable features of the new Solution Center system is the innovative use of a “wing panel” system that literally puts product information at visitors’ fingertips. Visitors can quickly understand a product’s key features and benefits and make comparisons among various product lines and different manufacturers’ offerings.
“We’ve always offered a wider range of product than we’ve been able to adequately display,” Kevin said. “The new Solution Center design system enables us to show a lot of product in a relatively small space.”
“Homeowners want to see their options, but many contractors find it’s not feasible to have their own showroom,” he added. “Our Solution Centers fill that need. They’re a tool for professionals; a comfortable, welcoming place they can bring their clients. We want our customers to feel our showrooms are their showrooms.”
Customers can also make appointments to send their clients in for a consultation with an ABC professional.
