We’re again thrilled to raise donations for one of our favorite nonprofits, Homes For Our Troops

There’s no sporting event quite like the Indianapolis 500. Fans from all over the country gather to witness The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, and the energy is electric as 33 drivers compete for glory. The Indy 500 is especially important to all of us at ABC Supply because once again, we’re honoring our military heroes by supporting a cause that helps Veterans rebuild their lives: Homes For Our Troops (HFOT).

2024 marks the third consecutive year that ABC Supply is donating our sponsorship of the No. 14 car during the Indy 500 to generate awareness for HFOT, a nonprofit that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.

Our 2024 Indy 500 Fundraising Goal for Homes For Our Troops

Not only is May “Indy 500 Month” — it’s also National Military Appreciation Month, and we need your support in making sure our country’s Veterans know we have their backs. This year, we’ve set our

sights on an ambitious HFOT fundraising goal of $4 million, and ABC Supply is matching donations made to HFOT — up to $1 million total — from May 1 through May 31.

Here’s how you can help us wave the checkered flag and make this $4 million goal a reality:

• Promote the campaign by sharing our social media posts. We plan to give plenty of updates about the Indy 500 and our fundraising goal, and we’d love for you to spread the word about HFOT with your friends and family.

As you’re making plans to tune in to the Indy 500, please consider supporting Homes For Our Troops and joining us in cheering on the newly designed ABC Supply-sponsored No. 14 AJ Foyt Racing car. We’re thrilled to see Santino Ferrucci back in the team’s driver seat, especially after his incredible third-place finish in last year’s Indy 500!

And, while we hope Ferrucci is first when the checkered flag waves this year, we’re looking for the opposite of a nail-biting finish when it comes to meeting our $4 million fundraising goal for HFOT. Help us make this possible for our country’s Veterans!

About Homes For Our Troops

If you’re new to the mission of Homes For Our Troops, here are just a few details about this incredible organization:

• HFOT is a top-rated Veterans charity.
• HFOT is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and has built and donated over 379 homes to date.
• Since its inception in 2004, nearly 90 cents of every dollar spent has gone directly to program services for Veterans.
• Most of the Veterans supported by HFOT have sustained life-altering injuries, including multiple limb amputation, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injuries (TBI). These homes restore some of the freedom and independence Veterans sacrificed while defending our country and enable them to focus on their family, recovery and rebuilding their lives.
